This book is fantastic. It has a wide variety of songs from The Beatles and Elvis to Pasty Cline and Hank Williams. They have chosen “ukulele friendly keys” for all the songs so you won’t often have to play difficult and complicated chords. They have chord charts on every page so you don’t have to go looking for how to play a new chord. They also have lyrics and the melodies notated so you can play or sing along.
This book is great for players wanted to learn to READ MUSIC. They walk you through every note step by step and introduce reading music with fun and easy songs. This book is written for a high G ukulele but those with a low G can still use it.
This book is great because it has notated all the melodies of the songs in TAB notation AND in score format. The font is nice and big and the songs are fun and easy to follow allong with. Songs include Elivs, Johnny Cash, Hank Wiliams, Simon & Garfunkel, Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger and many more!
