Trees Coffee 2025

Our students brought the house down at Trees Coffee with a night of incredible live music! Three groups took the stage, each showcasing their unique sound, creativity, and growing confidence as performers.

It was a proud moment for Mechanics of Music to see each group support one another and shine in their own way. Whether it was a student’s first time performing or a seasoned return to the stage, the night was a celebration of progress, connection, and the joy of making music together. Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer them on!

Mark your calendars and join us at Westminster Pier Park for the annual Mechanics of Music Fest! From 12–5pm, the riverfront will come alive with a vibrant mix of folk, rock, and indie sounds, featuring live performances from local favourites including Cat Murphy Band, Benchwarmers Band, Sizzlin’ Rainbows, Boom Boom Cactus Monkeys, 2nd Ave Stank, and more.

Hosted by Mechanics of Music Studios, this festival is all about bringing people together through music, creativity, and community. Don’t forget your lawn chairs, sunscreen, and your love of local music!

What is the Mechanics of Music Fest?

The annual event is a vibrant and energetic park concert that brings the community together for a day of celebration and fun!

Where is the Mechanics of Music Fest located?

The Mechanics of Music Fest is set to take place at Westminster Pier Park in New Westminster. See Site Map.

What time will Mechanics of Music Perform?

Musicians will hit the stage at 12:00 pm and continue to rock out until 5:00 pm.

Will parking be available for the event?

Plenty of parking at Westminster Pier Park. Hourly rates range from $3.25 to $3.75.

Will there be food or drink available?

Concessions will be open at Westminster Pier Park to purchase food and drink.

Do you need to live in New West to attend?

Everyone is welcome to join us at the Mechanics of Music Fest Invite as many people as you like!

Is there an entrance fee?

There is no entrance fee for the event. However, we ask that all performers contribute a $28.25 (or $25 cash) Performance Fee to cover venue costs. Pay Online.

Will there be bathrooms available?

Public restrooms will be available at Westminster Pier Park

What should I bring?

Be sure to bring some lawn chairs for yourself and your family to enjoy the live music.

What activities will be available during the event?

There will be a live music stage and activities for the kids, including corn hole.
