Mechanics of Street Sessions

We’re excited to announce that Mechanics of Music will be holding another Street Sessions!

• Saturday, January 17 – Uptown Plaza

Current Event Schedule (subject to change):

• From 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm:

  • Sound Playground - People can stop by and try a variety of instruments (aka Instrument Petting Zoo)

  • Group Ukulele Lesson (15 min) - Led by Kaitlin

  • Epic Sing Along (30 min) - Led by Kaitlin and the Mechanics of Music Rock Band

Here are the ways to get involved:

1. General Volunteer

   • Help load gear at the studio at 9:00 a.m.

   • Arrive at the event by 10:00 a.m.

   • Help as needed at the event

   • Stick around to help pack up from 3:00–4:00 p.m.

      

2. Sound Playground Crew

   • Arrive at the event by 11:30 a.m.

   • Help at one of our tents (ukulele, piano, guitar, percussion).

   • Show people a few basics and encourage them to try the instruments.

   • Ensure instruments are handled with care

      

3. Mechanics of Music Booth

   1. Arrive at the event by 11:30 a.m.

   2. Help at the Mechanics of Music Info booth

   3. Share your love of Mechanics of Music with potential clients

       

4. Rock Band Performer

   1. Be set up and ready to rock by 11:30 a.m.

   2. Join the performance crew for the sing-along set!
