MECHANICS OF MUSIC STREET SESSIONS
A free outdoor celebration of music & community
Street Sessions made its mark across New Westminster this season, lighting up the city with music, connection, and community spirit.

From Uptown Plaza to the boardwalk, each event invited people of all ages to step into the Sound Playground—an open space where guitars, ukuleles, drums, and shakers were waiting to be explored. Free ukulele lessons ran throughout the day, and community sing-alongs brought strangers together in perfect harmony. So much fun!

Huge thanks to everyone who came out, sang along, picked up an instrument, or cheered from the sidelines. These events proved that music isn’t just something we listen to—it’s something we share. See you at the next one!
